Yeah – if Zemeckis announces he’s gonna re-do Gone With The Wind or Citizen Kane in mo-cap he’s pretty much issuing a fatwa on his own ass. I’ll hold him – you pop a cap in his junk – we’ll let everyone else strip the flesh from his bones.

Avatar looks amazing. But there’s a great example of a story needing Mocap tech. Charles Dickens… not so much.

Yeah – Zemeckis has kinda disappeared up his own ass lately. Jim Cameron’s “Avatar” promises to be something worth seeing.

There’s so many different titles out there than can – and should be held up and celebrated. I haven’t had a chance to scour through all the Giz comments but I’m sure someone hollered: “Where the fuck is George Melies?!”

Dang Mills, you’ve always got something here to lure me in!

I was gonna post some comment about them omitting Young Sherlock Holme’s CG and insanely using the Star Wars “Special Evil Edition” Deathstar footage. But It was all covered in the orginal post’s comments.
Instead I’ll remember when Bob Zemeckis’s love of tech actually created some good movies… Back to the Future, Roger Rabbit, Forest Gump… Bob, please stop playing with mocap…
