Fuck You Rogers.
No - that isn’t me on my usual tirade; it’s an actual website where people have been signing on to a petition and statement of intent that says simply: “We love the iPhone but Rogers is fucked in the head.”
Sign your name.
Tell Ted Rogers - and Steve Jobs - that Canada needs and deserves a better answer than what is being offered.
I have my way out - I can buy an iPhone (by whatever means) and break it to make it work in the way I need and want it to. Of course I’m going to do that. I want the toy. I want the tool. I want it now.
I will not pay a usurious fee to a greedy monopoly for the privilege.
Fuck you Rogers.
Now isn’t this an extraordinary consumer response to a product? Doesn’t this mark the iPhone as not only being a desirable object d’culture but also as being a benchmark or a societal touchstone of a seachange in how we relate to, negotiate with and express ourselves through technology?
Of course it does.
Fuck you Rogers.

You should go there and add your own comment on being blocked. It’s blocked for me through Rogers but available via TekSavvy.
