Cyber Command Seeks Total Dominance = Greedy Piggies Swarm The Trough

I posted a little while ago about the Air Force Network Operations Center (AFNOC) whose motto is:
& Information Dominance.
.
Well, Gizmodo just posted their own short article on this and linked to this other Defence Tech post.
While the Giz pokes obvious fun at the Fan Fly Boys and their Buck Rogers ethos I can’t help but shake my head at the Defence Tech post and it’s use of war-faring language, it’s kill-or-be-killed aggressive & paranoid stance (even when describing the jockeying for position within the various arms of the U.S. Armed Forces and Intelligence Services) and the overwhelming and intensely distasteful lasting image of a swarm of grimy little shit-stained piggies snarfling at the filthy trough of mo’ money and mo’ power.
Where’s my Professor Zignut Death Ray when I need it?
Cheers.
UPDATE: And there’s this delicious post from the BBC about how Google’s open access approach to the world is coming into conflict with the U.S. military.
