World Images has posted a whack of classic U.S. World War II Posters. They were created for another culture in another time and then, as now, they would readily and rightly be called “propaganda”.

They evoke a time when (at least culturally) America was regarded as the Good Guys involved in the Good Fight.

Time to take back the reigns of propaganda - everything retro is cool.

Grab these evocative and iconic images and make ‘em into rallying cries for our current dismal and dangerous days.

Here’s a quickie I just slapped together:

Get creative. Print ‘em out and stick ‘em up where the don’t belong. Make postcards and greeting cards. Yeah yeah yeah they’re old school - so what? They worked. They’re iconic. That means something. Use it.
