It’s Spring!

No, I’m not going to make a living drawing silly little cartoons. That would be nice but it’s about as likely as me winning the lottery and no matter how often I pay that idiot tax I will never ever win; although last week I came really really close with all of my numbers being just one short of the winning numbers. Talk about screaming frustration.
Actually, let’s not talk about screaming frustration; there’s enough of that going around these days. Let’s talk about something else.
How about copyright reform, net neutrality, user generated content, citizen journalism and all the other fundamental shifts that are both threatening and promising to alter not only our cultural landscapes but also our current (and outmoded) economic models?
Okay. And I’ll be sure to throw in a bunch of lame jokes, silly cartoons, maybe some dumbass puppet stuff, and whatever else happens to plop out of my head. I’ve done my research and I’m reasonably confident I know what the hell I’m talking about. No doubt if I make any mistakes I’ll have my ass handed to me by someone; and that’s okay because this is all about having a conversation. Frankly, I’m not sure I’d speak with any of you at my local bar … unless you were buying me a drink … but this is how the new paradigm seems to be working so I’m quite willing to dive in head first to find out what’s at the bottom of it all; so I encourage all of you to comment and rate and do whatever the hell else it is that people do when wasting their time reading drivel such as this.
Cheers.
